Get ready for the England Invasion.

Ok so if you have been to our website as of late you will notice that June is a slow gig month for us. Why you ask? Well let me first say that musicians need a vacations too. Also we will be hosting a great band from England called 2ndTime lucky. We will have a mini tour going on and so you will really want to get out and see these guys. They are an amazing band. We traveled with them in England last summer and they were very gracious and showed us an amazing time while we were over there so we are retrunning the favor. As you can see on our gig schedule for July on our myspace we are pretty booked the week of the 9th to the 12th. IF you get a chance you want to see these guys I guarnatee it will be a great show.

Folklife Festival 08

So we did it again, we played at folklife this year. It was fun but for some reason we didn’t get the great grass fountain stage this year so it was a bit melodramatic. The fans however were great and were skanking about as they do. We love our fans and they really do keep us doing what we are doing.

We have to thank Chris, he shot some great video of us and was able to get a feed from the mix and put it all up on youtube for us. Even though the weather wasn’t so great people were there and it was alot of fun. If you didn’t get a chance to go here is a sample of what you missed.

Here is one of your new tunes Temper Temper

El Corazon Show with Natalie Wouldn’t

Here is a video from Chris that same night of the great Slackers.

First we want to thank Chris for posting this up on You Tube and also thank him for his kind words.

”Great show last night. You gonna work on getting more songs on a cd? Your always playing these cool songs that aren’t on it. Wish they could have started the show a bit sooner being a weekday and all. We had to cut out a little after midnight and didn’t get to see the end of the slackers. Got work and a 60 mile drive back to Roy.
For anyone that wasn’t there here is a little video of a great cover song from yesterday, the sound isn’t too great sorry to say. SKA covers are the best.”

We are coming out with a new CD. We are planning on going into the studio next month and we are very excited, we have   of new stuff including this cover King of the Road than will be on the CD.

The show the other night was a lot of fun. I always love seeing Deals Gone Bad, they have such a soulful sound and the Slackers between their banter between the band Members and the ease of their stage presence is just awesome. Diablotones always do a great job and Get down Moses is always sound great. All in all it was a fun show and we will keep everyone posted on the release of our next cd. In the mean time enjoy this video taken by Chris at the El Carazon show this Monday.

Gorman Winery "Rock Show"

Well what a show this was. This was a 15 set 4 hour show with amazing wines from Chris Gorman like Bulley, and Evil Twin, and great SKA music from Natalie Wouldn’t. The day was amazing with 78 degree weather and lots of wine and lots of really fun and sometimes very drunk people. Give you an idea of how this deal went. Doors opened at 12:00 45 people would rush in while the fog machine ran and the band fired up. As you can see from the photo people were having a great time and they brought their own glasses.

Natalie Wouldn’t would play 3 songs sets. Giving people enough time to get one pour and taste some great wines. When the 3rd song ended people left and then a quick break and the next flood of wine tasters were rushed in. This went on for 4 hours. It was fun and upbeat . Thanks to Chris Groman and all his help it ended up being a great hit.

By the end of the day the Band was tired, the volunteers were tired, and Chris and his wife Kelly, his parents, Sandy and Don were exhausted. WE had fun and really got to experience a great event.
